Four Non-Muslim Kenyans Killed in an Al-Shabaab Attack in Kenya’s Mandera County

NAIROBI (Somaliguardian) – Nairobi-bound bus attack by Al-Shabaab fighters left 4 people dead, Mandera County officials confirmed.

Al-Shabaab fighters pounced on a vehicle ferrying passengers from Mandera and bound for Nairobi, Kenya’s capital.

Reports say the fighters segregated Christians from Muslims and killed four Kenyan Christians in Lanfin area on the vicinity of Mandera.

Mandera County has been an epicenter of increasing spate of Al-Shabaab attacks targeting security forces and non-Muslim residents.

Hundreds of non-Muslim teachers have recently fled from Mandera and Garissa Counties for fear of being killed in Al-Shabaab attacks.
