NAIROBI (Somaliguardian) –Kenyan military have exchanged gunfire with Ethiopian troops, said to be unhappy with the closure of Kenyan border to arrest the spread of coronavirus.

Local officials have confirmed that Ethiopian troops attacked a team of local contractors who were digging tunnels on the borderline to stop entry and exit from Kenya.

Sources have told Somaliguardian that the Ethiopian troops opened fire on the workers as they excavated tunnel on Wednesday morning, damaging one of the excavators.
