KHARTOUM (Somaliguardian) – Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan have postponed talks on the controversial dam on the Blue Nile River, which were scheduled to resume in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday.
Talks will resume on Sunday and the postponement has come due to a delay in the arrival of Sudanese and Egyptian delegations in Kinshasa.
Egypt and Sudan say they will renew their demand for the participation of a quadripartite party during tomorrow’s negotiations on the Renaissance Dam.
Ethiopia said earlier that the summit with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Sudan will be held under the auspices of the African Union.
