MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somali State Minister of Environment Adam Aw Hersi said on Wednesday Al-Shabaab gunmen entered his bedroom during a recent complex attack at an upscale hotel near the presidential palace in Mogadishu.
Aw Hersi said the gunmen killed people in the hotel’s mosque and “sprayed bullets in my bedroom.”
Shortly after the bomb and gun attack on Sunday evening, the state minister tweeted that he had survived a “terrorist explosion targeted at my residence” in the Villa Rose Hotel.
