MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Two international airlines canceled their flights to Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Tuesday due to security fears, a day after the United States warned of possible attacks in multiple locations in the city.
Ethiopian Airlines and Turkish Airlines canceled scheduled flights to Mogadishu on Tuesday, citing operational issues. However, Turkish Airlines is expected to resume its flights on Wednesday.
