MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Kenyan new President William Ruto said he was looking forward to working closely with Somalia’s leader Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to overcome challenges in the Horn of Africa nation, CNN reported on Wednesday.
In an interview with CCN, Ruto said “Somalia is a difficult nut to crack” and that he has worked with the country’s president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in the past.
“We are looking forward to working with him and with the international community so that we can square out the challenges in Somalia, make it possible for Somalia to take care of its own security concerns,” he added.
