MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Puntland leader Saeed Abdullahi Deni on Tuesday appointed a ministerial committee to lead talks with opposition on bringing an end to the current electoral deadlock, Caasimada Online news website reported.
Following consultations with regional vice president and parliament speaker, Deni appointed Abdifarah Saeed Juha as the chairman of the committee that is tasked with leading negotiations on ending the current political crisis in the region, his press office said in a statement.
