Roadside bomb kills 6 telecoms workers on outskirts of Somalia’s capital

MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – A roadside blast killed six employees with Hormuud, Somalia’s largest telecommunications company, on the outskirts of the capital Mogadishu on Sunday.

The company and the Somali government said in separate statements that 6 workers were killed after their vehicle ran over an improvised explosive device in Garasbaley district on the outskirts of Mogadishu.

Both Hormuud and the Somali government condemned the attack for which no one has yet claimed responsibility.
