MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – In a meeting held on Wednesday, Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and the leader of neighboring Djibouti Ismail Omar Ghuelleh discussed strengthening historic bilateral relations between the two Horn of Africa nations.
“President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and President Ismail Omar Ghuelleh agreed to boost efforts towards improving peace and stability in the region in a way that is compatible with political and security circumstances in the region,” Villa Somalia said in a statement on X.
“The President of Republic [of Somalia] praised President Ismail Omar Ghuelleh for his crucial role in the peace and stability of the Horn of Africa region.”
