MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Ambassador of the European Union to Somalia Tiina Intelmann on Thursday condemned the killing of a staunch critic of Somali President and a federal MP Amina Mohamed Abdi in a suicide blast in the town of Baladweyne, which it described as a “politically motivated” assassination.
“Violence is not a way forward for Somalia. EU condemns terrorism and politically motivated killings. Condolences to the family of MP Amina Mohamed Abdi,” EU ambassador to Somalia tweeted.
