MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – The inauguration of Somalia’s new President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will be held on Monday, May 23, a spokesman for presidential palace said on Saturday following a meeting between the new leader and outgoing President, the third in just a week.
It followed images circulated online on Friday purporting to show vehicles moving out the furniture of outgoing leader from the presidential palace to Farmajo’s new residence near Mogadishu airport.
