MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre arrived in the coastal town of Kismayo on Sunday to inspect flood damage in the town and nearby areas, his office said.
The Premier was welcomed at Kismayo airport by Jubaland regional President Ahmed Madobe. The duo held talks on a number of key issues, including efforts to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to those impacted by floods, cooperation between regional and federal government agencies as well as the fight against insurgents.
