Somalia’s FM attends Arab foreign ministers summit in Cairo

MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Foreign Minister Abdisaeed Muse Ali attended the 157th meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Egypt’s capital, Cairo in which representatives of states discussed strengthening stability and economic integration, Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday.

Today, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat – Cairo, I participated in the 157th Ministerial Meeting, in the presence of the Honorable Brothers and Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Arab States,” he said.

“… we discussed many issues related to maintaining peace and stability in the region and ways to consolidate it, including economic integration and trade exchange.”

Abdisaeed also held talks with Jordanian, Iraqi and Bahrain counterparts on the sidelines of the Arab foreign ministers summit. “Economy, trade and security” were among issues discussed.
