Somalia’s govt sends ‘condolences’ to Iran over Raisi death

MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s government on Monday sent condolences to Iran over the death of its President Ibrahim Raisi and its Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a helicopter crash on Sunday. 

“The Somali Government expresses its profound sympathy and condolences to the Government and the people of the Republic of Iran on the sad passing of President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other officials accompanying them following the tragic helicopter crash,” Villa Somalia said.
