MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s cabinet ministers on Thursday donated their October salary to the fight against Al-Qaeda-aligned Al-Shabaab militants, the office of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre said.
“Government shows solidarity in the fight against terrorism as Cabinet Ministers contributed their October monthly salary to the war efforts on Kharijites,” statement issued by the Premier’s office reads.
The cabinet also approved “crucial bills, budget performance report and international agreement”, it added.
