MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s outgoing president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and incoming leader Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met at the presidential palace in Mogadishu on Thursday for the second time in just three days to discuss key issues ahead of power transfer ceremony.
“They discussed key strategic areas of security, economic progress, & development as they continue to lay the foundation towards organised transition & successful government service delivery,” the office for communications of Somali presidential palace said tweeted.
