Somalia’s PM meets Kenyan deputy president for talks on ‘bilateral relations’

MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Tuesday met Kenyan Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua a day after arriving in Nairobi in his first official state visit to the neighboring country, his office said.

“[Bare] was welcomed by Kenyan Deputy President H.E Rigathi Gachagua at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi, on Tuesday,” his office said in a statement.

“The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and further deepening cooperation. Important steps were taken toward stronger ties mutually beneficial to the two nations.”
