Somalia’s PM orders government agencies not to hold meetings abroad

MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – In a cabinet meeting held on Thursday, Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre instructed government agencies not to hold meetings abroad as conferences organized by the ministries continue to be held in neighboring countries despite claimed improvements in security.

“The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, who chaired the cabinet meeting, ordered government agencies not to hold meetings between different levels of government institutions outside of the country,” his office said in a statement.
