MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud gave a keynote speech at African Union summit in Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa and asked for support in his government’s fight against insurgents.
Mohamud told the participants of the summit that he will work during his new term on fighting Islamist militants, creating job opportunities for Somali youths and developing the economy.
He called for cooperation between African Union member states in overcoming key challenges ahead of the continent.
