MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Tuesday received the director of Turkey’s National Intelligence Agency Ibrahim Kalin at his office in the capital Mogadishu, days after Turkish warship had docked at the city’s seaport.
“President @HassanSMohamud received Ibrahim Kalin, head of Turkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT), at Villa Somalia Presidential Palace, Mogadishu,” Villa Somalia said.
“They discussed ways to further strengthen Türkiye-Somalia strategic cooperation in key areas of mutual interest, including security, intelligence, joint counter-terrorism efforts, and promoting regional stability.”
