MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Monday received the Executive Secretary of the Inter-governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Workneh Gebeyehu, hours after he had arrived in Mogadishu.
“They discussed further strengthening the Somalia-IGAD partnership to advance regional peace and security while addressing critical challenges such as climate resilience, food security, and economic development,” Villa Somalia said in a statement on X.
