Somalia’s president set to hold talks with UAE ruler after arriving in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is set to hold talks with the ruler of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss key bilateral issues after arriving in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

He was welcomed by UAE’s Minister of State Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and other top Emirati officials.

Mohamud departed for UAE on his first trip abroad on Sunday ahead of meeting with Gulf Arab country’s president that will focus on key bilateral issues, including trade and security as well as efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties, according to a statement issued by his office.
