MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – The Somaliland Ministry of Mining and Energy has entered into an agreement with UAE-based Emirates Industrial Laboratory to set up a mining lab dedicated to examining minerals and precious stones sourced from the breakaway region.
Authorities have announced that the lab, the first of its kind in Somaliland, will address challenges faced by local mining companies and is expected to stimulate economic growth in the region.
