MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – A stray missile fired by Yemen’s Houthi group landed near northern Somalia’s Taleh town on Friday, officials said as tensions continue to spiral out of control in the Red Sea.
A video showing missile debris have been circulated on social media, though no casualties were reported.
Authorities of Sool, Sanaag and Cayn (SSC) confirmed that the object seen in the video was a stray missile, denying media reports that it was a crashed surveillance drone operated by Ethiopia’s military.
