MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Tens of thousands of students took their final secondary school exams on Saturday in four regional states and the capital Mogadishu amid security presence, Minister of Education Abdullahi Abukar said.
The Minister said 35,000 students sat their final secondary school examinations in hundreds of stations across the country and thanked to security forces.
Images circulated online showed the outgoing Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble distributing exam papers to students at July 1 School near the presidential palace in Mogadishu. He wished success to the students taking their school-leaving examinations.
