MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Turkey said on Thursday it was concerned by a recent memorandum of understanding Ethiopia signed with Somaliland to get access to a leased land along the Red Sea.
“We reaffirm our commitment to the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia,” the spokesperson of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Öncü Keçeli tweeted.
“We emphasize that this situation is a requirement of international law.”
