MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – The ambassador of the United Kingdom to Somalia Mike Nithavrianakis on Sunday met with Somali Minister of Religious Affairs to discuss issues, including the fight against the Al-Qaeda-aligned militant group Al-Shabaab.
“Great to meet again with Minister @RobowAli,” the ambassador tweeted.
“We discussed the fight against Al-Shabaab, the information battle and the role of religious tolerance in tackling extremist ideology.”
