MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Ukraine’s cabinet said in a statement on Monday that it had decided to provide Somalia and Ethiopia with 50,000 tons of grain for free response to a worsening drought that has struck the Horn of Africa region.
The statement came days after UN-chartered vessel left Ukraine’s Chornomorsk Black Sea port with around 30,000 tons of wheat on board for Ethiopia.
