MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) -The United States on Wednesday dismissed reports alleging that US special envoy for the Horn of Africa Mike Hammer had praised controversial sea access deal between Somaliland and Ethiopia during a recent visit to Addis Ababa.
“Recent reports regarding an alleged statement from U.S. Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Mike Hammer about Somalia are false,” US embassy in Mogadishu said in a statement on X.
