KHARTOUM (Somaliguardian) – Sudan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that Ethiopia’s “unilateral” actions undermined mutual trust as dispute over the Ethiopian Rennaisance Dam continues to escalate.
The statement has come just a day after the government of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed told US ambassador to Khartoum on Tuesday that it was going ahead with the second phase of the filling of the controversial mega dam.
“Ethiopia evaded buying time to complete the process of the second filling of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam,” Sudanese Foreign Ministry said.
