Three People Killed and Two Wounded in Kenya Roadside Bomb Attack

NAIROBI (Somaliguardian) – At least three people were killed and two others injured after ambulance ran over IED device in Kenya’s Garissa County on Sunday, local authorities have confirmed.

There have been contradicting reports over the casualty number as Garissa County’s Police Commissioner Nicodemus Ndala earlier said that two people were killed and one injured in the attack, but local officials have later confirmed that death toll mounted to 3 with two injured.

The attack is the latest in a series of IED explosions and ambushes targeting Kenyan security forces and non-Muslim Kenyans –mostly carried out by the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Shabaab group which actively operates in Somalia and Kenya.
